Painting Pumpkins

After we bought our pumpkins, we decided to paint them. Last year, we carved a few, but you just can't do them in advance here in Florida. You have to do them like the night before, and they only last one or two days, and its just so messy. And our kids aren't old enough to know they're missing out on it. So anyway, we painted. They loved it.

Jillian said she was painting my face on her pumpkin, so this is her doing the "reveal."

Jake was very serious about this pumpkin painting business. He was still at the table painting long after Rick, Jillian, and I had finished. I finally had to tell him that he was done so we could move on to something else (baths!).
Painting the stem.
I don't know why these are loading sideways, but I can't get them to show up on here the right way. But this is one side of my pumpkin....
And the other side....

Jillian's finished pumpkin!

Jake's finished pumpkin!
Rick's finished pumpkin. Yeah, he painted BOOGERS on his pumpkin. Nice.

The Wilson pumpkin family! (Again, I can't figure out why they aren't loading correctly, so you'll have to turn your head.)
