Homework!

Last night, Jillian brought home her first ever homework assignment. Rick picked the kids up from school, so when they got home, I was going through their papers and emptying their lunch boxes while the kids were in the playroom watching cartoons. When I saw the homework, I said to Rick, "oh, Jillian has some homework?" Within seconds, Jillian came flying into the room, and said, "homework? Did you say Jillian has homework?!" She was so excited that she had some homework to do. She asked if she could do it then, and she immediately sat at the table and got ready. I turned off the tv and she didn't even protest! She did a great job and when she finished, she said, "mom, we can't forget to take my homework back to school tomorrow."
