Afterwards, while we waited for Rick to get the car, Jillian and Jake had fun playing on this vent by the window. It had a pretty good gust of air coming out of it - and Jillian thought it was great how the air blew her dress up!
WHOA Nelly!
After church we went to dinner at Applebees, and then came home. Once we got home, Jillian had to put some ornaments back on the tree, and then rearrange them a bit. Again.

And then it was time to open one present - their Christmas jammies! Jillian wasn't impressed with hers, but she did enjoy the act of opening. So much so, that when Jake struggled a bit, she offered to help him. And then got mad when he took his package back from her. But they worked it out, and opened Jake's present together!

Jake liked his jammies!
Finally, it was time to put out the milk and cookies for Santa! And the carrots and water for the reindeer. Later, we remembered to put out the reindeer food that we made last night.

Once the kiddos were asleep in bed, Santa came and visited us. And tomorrow morning, when the kids wake up, this is what will be waiting for them!
Santa put his presents here, to thank Jake and Jillian for the cookies.
After Jillian went to bed, and had been in bed for awhile, we could hear her talking in her room. So Rick went in to check on her, and told her that she should be sleeping. She said, "I know daddy, but I'm just too excited to go to sleep." Rick told her that she had to go to sleep so Santa could come, because he only comes to houses where all the kids are sleeping. So she said she'd go to sleep!

I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when Jillian and Jake get up in the morning. Merry Christmas!
