Inside the fire truck!
Next we got on the school bus. First, the kids had to drive.
Then they sat in the seats. Jillian was particularly excited about sitting in the school bus. Both kids get so excited when they see a school bus while we're out driving, and Jillian always tells me that she'll get to ride one when she's a "big kid and turns 7." 
Jake was so excited and so overwhelmed, he just didn't know where to look and where to run!
Next up - a back hoe bull dozer or some such thing. Rick told me what it was called, but I don't remember. (We could not get Jake to go sit in that thing!)
How cute is this???? A second after this, he reached around to hold her hand...
and this is what Jillian did!
After he sat in the bulldozer thing, Jake wanted to play with this. And he got grease all over his hands and pants, and then went and touched Rick's hands and pants. Luckily, the guy who drove the garbage truck (you can see it in the background) had some baby wipes he let us use. Yay for the garbage man!
Jake had to climb up on the seat of the garbage truck in order to pull the cord that made the horn honk!
I have no idea what this thing did. Some kind of drilling or something. But the guy who owned it was a Gator fan, and the hard hat said Gators on it, so Rick was happy. Both kids really liked this one!
From the moment we got there, Jillian really just wanted to play on the playground. I kept telling her we didn't drive all the way there (and pay the admission fee) for her to play on the playground - we came to look at trucks! She got mad at me and pouted!
Running to daddy!
This was one of those big Army trucks. Jillian was up in the truck while I was talking to the soldier, and all of a sudden, we heard the truck start up. Yup, Jillian started it right up! All she had to do was push a button or something, but you would think they would have disabled it or something with all those kids climbing in and out of it!
Jake could barely contain himself. He couldn't wait to get up there in that Army truck!
Rick lifted Jake up into the back of the Army truck while Jillian climbed the ladder up, and Jake freaked out. He made Rick put him back down on the ground so he could climb the ladder like Jillian!

And yes, we let them both play on the playground before we left. Everyone was happy!
Touch a Truck was fun! We'll definitely go back next year!
