They Absorb EVERYTHING

Tonight while I was giving Jillian a bath, she filled up a basket thing with water, and was using the hair rinsing bucket to dip the water out of the basket. She kept saying, "I gotta get all that yucky oil out of this water. Its so gross, and I have to get it all out of here!" I barely watch the news, but I guess she's watching it with Grandma Lynne, and absorbing the part about the oil in the ocean. Its a good reminder to me that she really does pick up on everything, even when you think she's not listening, or when its something I wouldn't think she'd be interested in.
