Before the party even started, the kids next door came over for an early trial run in the bounce house. They pretty much bounced until the party started!
Even George got into the birthday party spirit! George was loving the party - he got to hang out in the sun (it was a perfect day - nice and breezy, cool, no rain during the party) and be spoiled by a ton of kids! Heaven for George!
Jillian and her best friend Melissa from school. Melissa will start Kindergarten next year, so they won't be in the same class anymore. I know Jillian will miss her!

There were a bunch of kids at the party. At one point, some kids we didn't know even came to bounce. They were on a walk with their grandparents, I think, and were looking at our bounce house with hope in their faces. We invited them to come bounce for a bit, which made for a very busy bounce house! I think we had around 12 or so at one point! Even with all those kids, Jake was the only boy! 
Jake filled up this cup of peanuts all by himself, and stopped where he stood to start eating them!

Pinata time! Each kid got a couple turns at the pinata - finally Rick had to take a turn in order to get the candy out. The kids did a good job getting it busted up though - they just couldn't get through the last layer. They loved it though!
And the candy scramble began!
Present time! Jillian waited for this part all afternoon!
The other girls were just as excited as Jillian. She'd finish opening one present, and before it was even out of her hands, one of the girls would be handing her another one! It was a whirlwind, but it was so cute!

Jillian's friend Adrianna got her this stuffed Rapunzel doll. Jillian loves it because it is Rapunzel, and she loves Rapunzel right now. I love it because it doesn't have hair that has to be brushed every five seconds in order to keep it from getting nasty and tangled!
Every girl needs a feather boa!
Jillian got Twinkle Toes shoes from Grandma and Grandpa Bob. She's been wanting a pair of these shoes for a few months now, and asked me every day for a pair. She had about half an inch of the wrapping paper off this box when she yelled, "Twinkle Toes!" She later asked Grandma Bob, "did you get these for me?" When Grandma Bob said yes, Jillian said, "thank you. I love them!" And she does. She's been wearing them every day since she got them, and when she comes upon someone who hasn't seen yet, she stomps her feet to get them to light up - over and over again - until the person she's talking to notices and compliments her on them. 
When things started settling down, Morgan decided to jump in the bounce house...

Grandpa Rodney and Jake played a bit of basketball when the party was winding down.
It was such a great party! Everyone had a good time, the weather was beautiful, and Jillian had fun. I can't believe she's already four years old!
