What? 77 degrees today?

That's right, folks! Spring weather has arrived in Texas....for this week, anyway! It was such a beautiful afternoon, we had to go to the park. So did everyone else in the neighborhood - it was packed! The kids loved being able to wear their sandals, and we even broke out the shorts and t-shirts. We had a great time!

Jillian got her first injury of the day early on. She was running, and fell on the pebble pavers. This required a big band-aid when we got home. But she was a trooper - she got right up and said, "come on mom, lets keep playing!"

Jake loves climbing on this big rock!And they both love climbing up the rope ladder.

Oops! Jake slipped off the wall! (He did this while I was taking the picture - its not like I set out to take a picture of him falling! But he was fine!)

This is a loooong way up, and the steps are steep! But Jake is fearless!

Monkey on the monkey bars!

As an aside, Jillian was so excited to show Jake this shirt. She went up to him and said, "look Jake, my shirt says 'BIG SISTER' because I'm your big sister. Don't you love it?"
