On our snow day, we decided to paint after the kids woke up from their naps. Both kids love to paint, and we don't do it nearly enough. I need to make more of an effort to bring out the "weasel" more often. (I laugh inside every time Jillian calls it that...)
Jillian told me that she needed an "artists hat." So I gave her Rick's cowboy hat. Then Jake wanted one, of course. So I gave him Rick's ball cap. Then Jillian wanted the ball cap. So I gave her a different one, but then she said that none of the hats we had were appropriate, because artists "wear black hats. Those funny black hats!"
