Jillian's First Haircut!

Last weekend, Jillian had her first-ever hair cut! She just got a little trim, to kind of even up the back of her hair, but she still has enough hair for pig-tails and she kept her little curlies. We took her to Sweet and Sassy, the place in the mall for little girls. It was perfect, because it was geared for little girls - there were princess wands, feather boas, and sparkly stuff everywhere. And everything in the store was pink and purple, which Jillian loved!

Jillian got to sit in a throne-shaped chair, with a pink cape that said "Sweet Princess." And while she got her hair cut, she played with a princess wand and wore frilly things on her arms. There was a movie playing, and Jillian alternated between watching the movie and looking at herself in the mirror.
Even the blow dryer and curling iron were pink! (Jillian, of course, didn't have the curling iron.)When her haircut was finished, and her hair was dried, the stylist sprayed "princess sparkles" on Jillian's hair! This was Jillian's favorite part, and she asked me to buy some princess sparkles for her birthday party (I think I will!).
You can kind of see the glitter in this picture.
And then she got a princess glitter star on her cheek - which she also thought was pretty cool!

A look at the back - much cleaner and no more scragglies!
