Fun at the Park

Even though the weather has been cold, we've been trying to spend a lot of time outdoors lately. We try to go outside any time its not super freezing, because we get cabin fever when its too cold to go outside - we make the most of the nicer weather.

Here's Jillian, showing off her new gloves from Santa.
We often bring lunch with us and have a picnic.

Jillian has advanced to the big girl swings! She never wants to get in the baby swings any more. She's getting really good too - she can swing pretty high!

Jake is fearless. He'll climb or jump on anything, and isn't afraid of trying something new. He's not a huge fan of slides though. He'll go down one if its the only option, but I've noticed that he doesn't often choose to go down a slide!

Jillian does though! She loves twisty slides the most!

George loves it when we let him come to the park with us!

And then they found the leaves!

But big sisters always get the last laugh!
There weren't any baby swings at this park, and Jake really wanted to swing, so he decided to try a big swing...

...with messy consequences....

She climbed up this by herself! Jillian is getting a lot more confident in climbing on these things - I think because she doesn't want Jake to out-do her.
