Spending time in Orlando

Back in Orlando, Rick and the kids had a fun week. On Monday, they went to the beach with Grandma Barber to see the space shuttle take off. While they were there, they took a dip in the water and built a sand castle. It was such a beautiful day for being at the beach!

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the kids and Rick hung out at grandma and grandpa's house. They played in the bounce pit, kicked the ball in the yard, rode the lawn mower, played in the trees, and just had a good time.

Aunt Wendy came to visit one afternoon, and the kids played outside while she took photos of them. Rick caught a lizard for them to look at. Jake was really interested, but Jillian wasn't quite so impressed. (Thanks for the great photos, Wendy!)

Jake thought the lizard was great, until it latched onto his finger! Look at his facial expression in the first picture where he is looking at the lizard, and in the second after the lizard had latched on! Rick said after they got the lizard off his finger, he went right back for more. Jake has no fear when it comes to animals!
Jillian gave Jake a kiss to make him feel better after that darn lizard got him! What a nice big sister!Look at those blue eyes!

On Thursday, everyone went up to Jacksonville to see Aunt Kim, Uncle Keith, and cousins Kelsey, Reagan, and Hayden. Jillian had fun playing with Hayden and both kids enjoyed bouncing on the trampoline. Unfortunately, Rick forgot to take any pictures.

On Friday, the kids met me in Haines City so we could go on to Lake Placid for the night. On the way there, Jillian said, "mommy, I'm holding Jake's hand. Its cute! Take a picture of us holding hands!" So I did.
