Sea World

We took advantage of the Sea World fun passes this weekend, and spent the day with Shamu! For Florida residents, if you bought a one-day ticket by May 31, you could come back all year. Who could pass that up? We had gone out for breakfast and were trying to decide what to do when we remembered that if we were going to get the passes, we had to do it that weekend! So off we went! Watching the Dolphin show. Jillian LOVED it. She especially loved the girls who were dressed as birds, who flew through the air on cables. She told me she wanted to do that when she gets bigger.
And who can resist the Clyde and Seymour show?
Next stop, "Pets Ahoy!" And an air-conditioned theater! Both kids really enjoyed this show, with trained cats, dogs, birds, and pigs running all around. It was pretty cute!

In the evening, we went back to the Clyde and Seymour show. The night show is funny, kind of a parody of all the other shows. Rick and I thought it was hilarious - the kids didn't really get it. Before the show, the mime comes out and jokes with people and pokes fun at people. Jillian thought he was funny and wanted to go say hi to him. We let her go down, wondering how the mime would react. He shook her hand and gave her a hug, which was cute. But that started a long line of young kids running to see him. He had a hard time getting back into his routine after that!

Time to head home. The kids were excited to get these light-up dolphin necklaces, and couldn't wait to turn them on when it got dark! What a fun, spontaneous day! Can't wait to go back this summer!
