Jillian has been watching something or talking to someone and getting some random facts about animals. I'm not sure where she learns this stuff, but she picks up on everything.
Jillian: "Mommy, did you know that an octopus can be dangerous?"
Jillian: "Mom, did you know that bats sleep upside down?"
Jillian: "Mom, did you know that ants live underground?"
And she's picking up on funny phrases too. She's been going around saying, "Slow and steady wins the race!" and "Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers."
AND, our neighbors from two houses down are back from New York! They have a zillion kids, and they spend their summers up north. We've been missing them, but they're back now, so we're excited. Jillian spent all day yesterday with them at Timmy and Sophie's house, and she's back there tonight for a movie party! Natosha (Sophie's mom) asked if Jillie could stay until 10 so she could watch all of the movie, and I'm sure she's having a great time! We were just talking this afternoon about how Jillian prefers to be at the neighbors house than being with us. Sad, but we're happy she has playmates close by who she likes spending time with.
