Tonight when I put Jillian to bed, we had a conversation about mommy and daddy and the fact that we take care of each other. I told Jillian that one day she will grow up and get married and have a husband and they will take care of each other. She looked at me and said, "who will take care of me now?" I said I would. Then we had this conversation:
Jillian: "Who will hug me?"
Me: "I will, of course." Then I gave her a huge hug.
Jillian: "Who will kiss me?"
Me: "I will!" Then I gave her a kiss.
Jillian: "And will you love me?"
Me: "Of course!"
