All summer long, Jillian wasn't too happy about the idea of wearing uniforms. And taking her shopping to buy the uniforms was a nightmare. Its kind of a bummer that the first day of school was a PE uniform day, so we ended up taking pictures twice - on the first and second day.
We dropped Jake off in his classroom first. He has the same teacher that Jillian had last year, so he knows her and feels very comfortable with her. He was super excited to be in her class this year and to do the fun activities and stuff that he watched Jillian do last year.
Next stop, Jillian's new classroom. First things first - put the backpack and lunch box on her hook.
Then, she had to move her clip to the correct spot on the lunch board. Yellow means they brought their lunch from home, green means they are buying lunch. This system makes it easy for the teacher to tell the cafeteria how many kids are going to need a meal each day.
Jillian and Mrs. Bosco!
Next, Jillian got her supply box and started getting all her supplies ready.
Jillie knew most of the kids in her class from last year, but there were a few new faces in the room. She's looking forward to making new friends this year!
Second day of school - regular uniforms. Jillian has red polo shirts and one blue one. Her other options were black or white. I didn't think white was a good idea, and I didn't think she'd like black, so I only got her red and the one blue. She's so stinking cute!
My babies being cute and loving on each other.
Jakey being a silly, silly boy!
