Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, Rick wasn't feeling well, so I took the kids to the church service at their school's church. I didn't love the service, I felt like it wasn't very Christmas-y, so we drove around looking at Christmas lights afterward. We drove by a park in our town where every single tree was wrapped in lights. Its beautiful. We decided to stop and walk around the park, and when we got up in the middle of the park, we realized that a Christmas service was about to start. We decided to stay, and it was perfect. There was a lot of singing Christmas carols and the message was perfect. Both the kids and I were very happy that we decided to stick around.

Both kids made reindeer food in their classes at school, so as soon as we got home, the kids got baths and put their pajamas on, and then we went outside to sprinkle the reindeer food on the lawn and driveway. They were both so excited about it!

And finally, we set out milk and cookies for Santa (chocolate milk!). And Jillian insisted on carrots and tomatos for Rudolph. Not the other reindeer - just Rudolph. She said he could share if he wanted, but he didn't have to.
Night, night, babies! Time to get in bed so that Santa can come!
