Disney on Ice!

On Friday night, I took Jillian to see Disney on Ice, featuring three princesses, including her favorite, Rapunzel. We went with our friends Laura and Tammy, and their daughters Lisa and Ryanne. The daddys and the brothers stayed home and did boy stuff. We had such a fun time! We all had a blast, and it was so fun to watch the girls enjoy it.
The princesses are ready to go to the show!

All three girls really liked these shirts because they say "BFF" on them: Best Friends Forever!

Almost there! Three blondies!
Lisa and Jillian showing off their souvenirs. Lisa got a Rapunzel doll, and Jillian got Maximus!

Tammy and Laura before the show started...

Jillian kept saying, "thank you for bringing me here, mommy!"

And the show finally started! The girls were mesmerized!

The first story was The Princess and the Frog. Jillian was not happy that they didn't start with Tangled. She spent most of the time during this portion of the show asking me when it would be over because she wanted to see Rapunzel!

Cinderella was up next - Jillian was much happier with this one. Maybe because she knew the story better. She was asking me lots of questions about it and loving the dancing and skating.

I loved these "horses" on Cinderella's carriage.

Finally! Time for Rapunzel! Jillian was soooooo excited!
When Maximus came out, Jillian said, "What? That horse is on ice skates?? How does that work?"

Floating lanterns. Jillian loved these. They were so pretty!

Every time Maximus was on the ice, Jillian would wave her Maximus in the air. It was so cute. The people behind us probably didn't think so though, now that I think about it.

After Rapunzel discovered she was the Lost Princess, the town hosted a party for her and Flynn Ryder, and all of the other princesses came as guests. They were all there - Cinderella, Tiana, Snow White, Belle, Mulan, Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora, and, of course, Rapunzel.

The finale was Jillian's favorite part. All the princesses danced to a medly of all their "signature" songs, and they had fireworks at the end. Their costumes were all gold and cream colored, and it was really pretty. Rapunzel had her long hair, and Jillian asked me later how she got her hair back, since cutting it was supposed to turn it brown and take the magic out of it. She didn't understand how Rapunzel got long, blonde hair again. I didn't really know what to tell her....
During the finale, Jillian and Lisa just kept waving their dolls above their heads and singing along. It was so cute!

Good-bye, Mickey and Minnie!

We all had such a great time! I'm so glad we went - its something the girls will be talking about for awhile...
