Hopscotch!
Jumping for Joy!
Before the egg hunt at Holy Cross, they announced that for each age group, there were two special eggs that had a special prize inside. We spotted one of those eggs before they opened the gate, so Jillian made a bee line for that egg. She's showing it off here. They had an interesting take on the egg prizes at this hunt. All the eggs were empty, and then after the hunt, the kids took them inside and matched up the color of the egg to a color themed table. So if they had three pink eggs, they'd go to the pink egg table and pick three prizes. It kind of made the fun of the "hunt" last a little bit longer.
On the hunt....
And now the fun part - opening the eggs to see what's inside!
Aunt Cathy spent the night before Easter, and she and the kids made an Easter bunny cake, which doubled as a birthday cake for Jake. Since his birthday is in a week, we celebrated his birthday with the family a bit early. This cake had no eggs, and it didn't taste too bad!
Pretty girl all dressed up for church!
Jake got this super cool marble run for his birthday. He had a blast setting it up and taking it down, and setting it up again! He also got a bunch of Captain America stuff, which he loved!
