Pilgrims

On the way to school today, Jillian was talking to me about Thanksgiving, and Indians, and Pilgrims. We have a lot of interesting conversations on the way to school, and a lot of the time, that is when I hear what they are learning about.


Jillian said, "mom, do you want me to tell you something about the Pilgrims?" Of course, I said yes. She's a smart girl, and she remembers everything she hears, so I was interested to see what she was going to tell me about the Pilgrims. Then she said, "Well, they came on a ship. A great big ship. And when they had to poop, they pooped in a bucket. And then they threw it in the ocean when the bucket got full."
